Organization. GREPS' purpose and goal is to bring together Real Estate
Brokers and Agents, Appraisers, and Mortgage Lenders & Broker to culminate standardizations for the
Green & Sustainable Real Estate Market. Additionally, provide specific educational curriculum, green
ethics and knowledge to assess value and marketability of Green & Sustainable
Real Estate Properties. |

Enviroltor® - Evolution of the Real Estate Professional
Global Real Estate Professionals
of Sustainability Association (GREPS) provides an educational curriculum
and designation to real estate brokerages and their agents. As members
of GREPS, brokerages are provided and assisted with the means to educate
their agents on matters of Sustainable and Green Real Estate. After
the agents have demonstrated an understanding and a level of expertise
on the matters of Sustainable and Green Real Estate, agents are provided
the designation of an Enviroltor®, and of course, the pre-requisite
is to be licensed real estate agent. Additionally, to maintain the
designation, agents must complete bi-annual continual education courses
which qualify for renewal hours as well.
Through the collective of the Board, Members and Affiliates of GREPS,
the paramount goal is to provide standardization to Green & Sustainable Real
Estate as it pertains to the Real Estate Transaction and the Real Estate Professionals
involved in servicing the public at large.
Due to the increase awareness and attention to “Green” Real Estate movement,
Government Regulations are in the midst of creating legislation for the “Green”
Real Estate Industry. In the interest our members and fellow “Green” Real Estate
Professional, GREPS’ goal is to be active in working with those Government Agencies
involved in regulating our industry. |
